Michael Beck (South Atlantic Coordinator for Fresh Expressions US and North Central District Cultivator of Fresh Expressions for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church) will be facilitating a Fresh Expressions Workshop with a focus on the local church. Local Church Fresh Expression Workshops are designed to help inherited churches of every size better understand the movement of God in fresh expressions of church and join more naturally in that movement.

To help local churches discover their unique contexts and discipling paradigms, Michael will share from his own experience with directing addiction recovery programs, a jail ministry, a food pantry, and a network of local fresh expressions that meet in such places as tattoo parlors and burrito joints.

The workshop will be held from 2pm to 5pm.
